Photos have been snapped of Tata testing a new SUV in Sweden, which according to WCF is supposedly the new Safari. No further details are available right now but looking at its proportions, it looks more like an MUV. Although the thought of an all new Tata Safari is exciting, I find myself wishing this one to be another new Tata model and not replace the current Safari.

It is Tata, I saw a similar prototype near the gates of Tata plant in Pipmri, Pune.
Rumors are out that the name of the vehicle is Tata Indicruz. More like the product like ‘indica’ and ‘indigo’. Safari will be the same a ‘lifestyle SUV’
this is not safari it is mahindra XYLO.. it has been tested across the world in various conditons..it is defntly not a safri because of its bonnet length

its the Crossover concept to be unveiled in 2009 but why start testing in January that a looooooooooong work period
Must say that tata is good in design and comfort compared to other vehicles in its segment. what i would request is chaging the body design is ok. They should aim at improving the technology and provide engine variants rather than body variants. Sumo grande also has the same engine as of safari. Atleast work on the technology front.
it’s tata indicruz which will compete innova and xylo.It is based on concept- ‘indiva’ unveiled in auto xpo 04 and crossover and cliffrider are upgraded version of the same concept which was unveiled in 06 and 08 geneva motor show.

Hi, this is the new tata aria. It is a luxury muv, which will sell at a premium, and yes, it will cost atleast a good 2 lks, above the safari.
through this one don’t seems like an Safari…. still i will be glad if they are planning to bring new one in the market….. last one has an average look, i hope they might work on design part this time……
TATA is going to rock in the world in coming years.
From sides it looks like little bit same as the TATA Safari. But from front it looks different like smaller than Safari. At this point we can’t say anything because there are not enough and clear pictures of the car.
Tata is one of the best reputed brand all over the world. Tata safari is one of the best model tata have ever produced. I think this new tata safari will rock as it looks very luxurious and comfortable.

I agree with some of you guys, why should TATA change the existing look , a kingly look and make a model to match up with the new styles of SUV’s, the smashed up sytle, Instead they should have left the old exterior look the way it’s and paid more attention to the interior quality and the engine performance. I think TATA should ask the Safari owners, what they would like to changed if they would in the existing one.
according to me tata SAfari means strong powerful and indian road friendly suv. it was said that tata is going to change the shape of safari .but here the hol shape of the safari model has been changed and it look like muv not suv.

the new safari was one of the most awaited suv ever . it has been a year since i heard of this car .the old safari had a macho personality and being a indegeniously build car ,it has a soft corner in the heart of indian costomer .it was a decade old product and had recieve only minor facelift and therefore lacks in some departments like fit and finish ,quality,build yet a very competative product.if the new one get all these right,its gonna rock .the aria was a very good sign in right direction.i think so

If this is new design of Tata Safari, it is disappointing. The current design is far superb and looks great. Would not suggest tata to change body design of safari if they want sales to boost up. Their present adv has increased sales in good numbers. but if this is the new design, Tata u r in for losses in this segment. Rather aim for improvement of engine technology.
The design of previous Safari is much superior. New design sucks!
If the cover is removed, then we would be in better position to judge. This one is in cover. So, I will keep my opinion reserved on this.
there is a lot of problem in it first is design my mind is not working why the tata company copy like innova.there is a lot of engineers were working in what thay do i think thay do nothing only copy the design of other company.i think company will forget there image.pls do some thing other wise company become ………..nil
